I certainly don’t know what anyone else can expect with their FNA thyroid biopsy results but I can share mine.

When I would call Bingo at the nursing home where I volunteered, I would say, "B9 not cancerous."
There’s nothing for me to be concerned about.
I don’t have cancer.
They will monitor my adenoma/goiter/nodule/tumor and I will likely have another biopsy in the future to see if anything has changed.
I don’t need to change my medicine or do anything differently at this time. I have a follow-up appointment in August.
I got my results by calling my Endocrinologist’s office. The hospital said it would take 3-4 days for my doc to get the results and when I didn’t hear anything, I decided to call.
I’m relieved to know I don’t need surgery of any sort at this time particularly because I don’t know what to expect at my big appointment Tuesday.
